Completes reviews of standard commercial loan documentation and updates to various systems to ensure adequacy, completeness, integrity and compliance with regulations.
Operational Effectiveness & Control
Review standard commercial loan documentation to ensure compliance with all Company, legal and regulatory guidelines
Ensure system input and updates are processed timely and accurately to support reporting. Ensure collateral movement, including liquid collateral, is completed under proper security controls. Direct and complete inventory of securities prior to their returning to the vault
Serve as advisor to Company personnel on commercial collateral, documentation and systems issues
Management of Risk
Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand
Observation of Internal Controls
Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
Minimum of four years proven and progressive commercial loan documentation and/or operations experience or equivalent
Associates degree in accounting, business, related field or equivalent experience
Developed communications, organizational, customer service and interpersonal skills
Sound knowledge of commercial loan products, credit policy, compliance and interpretation of legal and regulatory issues
